How do credits work? Can I use one credit per chapter?

Twig offers two ways to pay: per-manuscript pricing based on price-per-word or a credit bundle which include several full edits.

How do credits work?

One credit = one full manuscript edit

A credit covers a complete developmental edit of one manuscript. You can upload the whole thing, run the frameworks you want, and it's done.

Credits are not split up by chapter or word count.

That means:

• You can't spend a partial credit on a few chapters and save the rest for later
• The credit covers your manuscript regardless of length (e.g. a short story still costs one credit) or framework selected

Which means you should probably not use a credit for your very short novella or short story!

Can I submit chapter by chapter, or pay per word as I write?

Twig needs your full manuscript in one upload to give you accurate developmental feedback, things like pacing and structure only make sense in context of the whole book.

That being said, you can always use the free chapter roast for feedback on individual chapters.

Do credits expire?

No. Buy a credit package now and use it whenever your manuscript is ready, there's no deadline.
